sorry about the spelling, but is this possible? to leave combat whenever you want?sorry if this is an illegal question..
A feral Ork is a happy Ork.
Not unless you have a special rule that lets you. Hit and run or Necron teleporting are two examples.
Mirage Arcana Podcast
The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
Vehicles without a weapon skill are not locked, so yes.
Everything else, no. (Assault phase Summary page 36 BG.
But there is a universal special rule on page 74 (Hit and Run) that allows you to break off at the end of a round of close combat.
Any other rules will be Codex specific, like Necrons teleportation.
In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.
As per the above posters. However, under 3rd ed you were able to voluntarily leave combat via a voluntary break test
And besides the 2 methods of necron leaving, and hit and run, there is only one model that can do that currently, an IG special character IIRC.
16,000+ of Eldar (only need flyers)
7,000+ of Nids (want heirophant)
6,000+ of Space Marines (need rever titan)
4,400+ of Cygnar (all models for the faction)
1,500+ of Legion (just started)
So in otherwords what everyone is trying to say, is NO, you cannot voluntarity leave combat, unless there is some special rule that allows you to do so.
Don't forget the Deceiver can misdirect (same principle but very different from H&R, especially in the timing), and the Callidus assassin can jump from combat, too.
*edit* Bah, Sinjin beat me to it about the assassin! :p
