hey everyone, today i was talking to a friend about a space marine army i was considering starting and said that id be useing 2 traits from different boxes and was wondering what disadvantages i should take, then he said that i could take 4 traits as the text says "select two different advanatges from any 2 traits different traits" so is it true that i can take 2 advantages or is this just a misinterpritation?
I may be wrong here, but I don't think so. You can take 1 trait each from two different boxes, for a total of two traits.
The wording might be a little weird in the Codex, but it's saying: Take two (total) traits from two different boxes. The advantage is using two different boxes instead of one box for both your traits.
Hope this helps!
And why would you ever need more than 2 traits anyways?
As tekore said, it's 2 total, be they from the same both or from 2 different boxes. Your disadvantages may be major or minor accordingly.
16,000+ of Eldar (only need flyers)
7,000+ of Nids (want heirophant)
6,000+ of Space Marines (need rever titan)
4,400+ of Cygnar (all models for the faction)
1,500+ of Legion (just started)
