Ello, this question came up dureing a game. And we were wondering. If a drop pod scatters into an enemy/friendly squad, and the squad moves around out of the way, do the squad also have to move out of the way so guys inside can get out too? Or if there isn't enough room for them to get out do they die?

If awnser to this question is in a book, please tell me and the pg number. Thanks.

You only adjust the scatter of the pod, never the units it lands near. This is covered under the rules for Drop Pods in Codex: SM/BT/DA/BA as appropriate.

If the scatter would take you on top of another unit, the rules state you reduce the scatter.

The only time I can think of that a unit from a pod could be destroyed is if the pod lands in an empty circle surrounded by models or impassable terrain.
