In the witch hunters codex adversaries section it states you can equip your characters from the codex : chaos space marines wargear. Since the new codex doesn't have a section like that, would there be objections if i picked from the listed wargear next to characters, of should I stop being stupid and pick up an old one.
If (As i spotted a tournament once did - but didn't list armies i.e. you could play adversaries) It restricts army lists to current codexes only, what would you respond with if i equipped myself from the old one?
I'm musing really, and not all that serious. It's for a novelty undead IG with W/H adversaries army, but what would you say if facing it?
you are askng for opinion without clarification from GW, as long as you accept that (and other posters dont start fighting about it) then fine, I would have no objection to you using old codex, would happily lend you mine to do this. using the new codex introduces problems, but could be reasonably resolved
Everything you have been told is a lie!
That list isn't really legal for much of anything anyway. At least recently the GTs have specified that only the "core" lists from the allowed Codices are permitted. If you're using it, the game is pretty much house rules for fun to begin with, so whatever works best should be ok.
