What exactly are all the models classed as?
I know most of the things are infantry, but what about Talos? Nothing says they are a monstrous creature. In their profile they have the word "skimmer" but then list their own instructions for it. Besides, it has wounds. Also it has a rule saying it ignores armour saves. Does this mean it is or isn't a monstrous creature?
What about Grotesques? What if they have a lord join them. Is the lord untouchable because of their Feel no pain? Do they still get that FnP?
Also in the special characters section, it makes specific references to some Kabals, but no rules for them.
E.G. Grand torturer So-and-so can be taken in a Kabal of the so-and-so in a 1500 or more point game.
The DE are a confusing race.
Yes he would avoid damage to an extent, but the 'torrent of fire' rule could be used to apply hits to him if enough shots are fired at them (Shots of insufficient strength against the grotesques would still be discounted). What about Grotesques? What if they have a lord join them. Is the lord untouchable because of their Feel no pain? Do they still get that FnP?That's solely for the purposes of theme, nothing more. Also in the special characters section, it makes specific references to some Kabals, but no rules for them.
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone

It is just that your statement confuses me.
It's a very easily missed page, that one.

"Tau Commandment #226: Participants who use Velocity Trackers in the Tau Clay Pigeon Tournament will be disqualified"
Dark Eldar confusing?
Not quite sure how to take that!
But as to the Talos and after 10 years of using this beastie it amused me no end to find out a second reference to it being a Monstrous creature. (Drum roll please).
Page 55 in the “Monstrous Creatures” entry it specifically mentions the Talos as being one.
A Kabal is another name for ‘group’ and refers to an army led by an Archon/Drachon with the usual Incubi/Warrior retinue and uses warriors as troops. A Kabal has the least restrictions in unit choice and is often referred to as a “mixed Kabal” for this reason.
In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.
