I need clarification on when to use jetpack (flying) movement and rolling for dangerous terrain, and when to walk and roll for difficult terrain with my crisis suits. This debate comes up so many times i was just wondering what the answer is and where to show it in the rule book. Thanks for any suggestions!
Everything you need is on pg55 of the BGB.
Some key points:
-The jump move is always optional.
-The assault jump move can not be used to charge.
-A dangerous terrain test is always required when making the jump into difficult terrain. This applies to both the movement and assault phases.
Hope this helps.

sounds more like a request for tactical advice than rules =) In the movement phase you have the choice to jump and risk taking wounds from dangerous terrain tests, or walk and risk not rolling enough movement to see your target. In the Assault phase you must jump (unless you're actually assaulting of course).
