I needs help on basic rules and how they apply to eldars
... you have my rulebook, numbnuts. Basically read it and take it to heart. The appendix at the back of the (soon to be outdated) rulebook will give you a basic synopsis of the dynamics and turn sequencing. The dice tables are on the back as well. If that doesn't help you, then... you're hopeless. :lol:
... As for how they apply to the Dark eldar you will soon be using, you need the codex, which i will (hopefully) be able to help you out with.
If Knowledge is Power, then Genius is Tyranny.
god dammit, antioch! leave me alone or I'll have priest slit your throat!
::bows to mods::
sorry for my isnolence, but you should tell me what is the best rules to take to heart,not him.
What he said is what You get!
Read the rulebook and the Codex for the army You will be using, and if You don't get something post here and well hopefully be able to help You out.
Oh yes, lets not forget the clarifications! Official online clarifications at Chapter Approved, bottom page, pdf-format. I suggest reading Rulebok Clarifications and the FAQ for Your chosen army. Keep in mind some races have additional erratas, You can find those on the same page.
"The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all biomatter consumed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be devoured."
you have to read the book or else you wont ever know how to play. but you dont have to play with it all at once, you can start by playing with the basics and move on to add things like morale and pinning and such... thats what i did. pretty soon (if you read) you will a pro with the book and the rules.
ok! I read the book and somewhat understand it, now I need some dark eldars. who has some dark eldars they might be willing to give away?

You are completely mad, arent you?
This is an expensive hobby dude.....
I don't think you'll meet a single person who would be willing to give up 30 bucks to a stranger on a forum.
Now, whether somebody at your local store (staff or players) might have some models you could use for a couple hours to try out the hobby...
I have sent you two "dark eldars" battleforces to your house. These "dark eldars" i already glued, painted, and finished for you. I included a foldable gaming table and another small box with some scenery you can use, along with 5 possible placement charts that can help you use the terrain to the best of your advantage with your new "dark eldars". I also included in the terrain box a wh40k rulebook, a "dark eldars" codex, a chapter approved codex, and a cityfight ruling codex. These should all be arriving shortly in a FED-EX truck. Everything is paid for and I hope you get the best out of your gaming. *stifles laughter*
