It was brought to my attention that with poisoned weapons you are allowed to re-roll wounds if your strength is equal to or higher than the target's toughness.
So, naturally, I got excited and start looking for all of the poisoned attacks in the Daemons book. I became particularly interested in necrotic missiles (being ap 2 and from a str 6 model).
However, after reading the actual rules for poisoned attacks in the book myself I found that it specifys that you must re-roll wounds in "hand-to-hand".
So, I'm guessing you can't re-roll wounds for the necrotic missiles, but why call necrotic missiles "a ranged poisoned attack" if it doesn't benefit from the "poisoned attack" rules???
Read p42 of the rulebook, under "Poisoned Weapons". And ignore the second-to-last sentence since it's a ranged attack, as you pointed out :) The rest still applies to the attack.
