I can't find anything in the new rulebook about needing 6s to hit skimmers in combat. Am I just being blind and daft or does a stationary skimmer get automatically hit in combat now? It'll make quite a difference to my monoliths if they've changed this
Skimmers are treated like a normal vehicle. Stationary is an autohit, combat speed is a 4+, cruising speed is a 6
No hitting Skimmer on 6s anymore.
Monolith is plenty tough as is

I currently play:
Doom Eagle Space Marines
Hive Fleet Omega Tyranids
Goff Ork Boyz(dead)
Tau of O'me
Inquisitorial Xeno Hunters
and my attempted foray into fantasy
'Dark Angel Green' Dark Elves in need of fluff
Ouch... Oh well I'll have to pay attention to powerfists near my lith now and I'll have to keep it moving. Thanks guys.
The only exception to this is a FAST skimmer moving flat out. This does result in needing 6s to hit it in combat, unless it is immobilised. P.70 BRB
"Tau Commandment #226: Participants who use Velocity Trackers in the Tau Clay Pigeon Tournament will be disqualified"
I am a big fan of this change, actual speed at which something is moving is taken into account.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
