As the command platoon is a troop choice the platoon command squad counts as scoring. However if the squad gets wiped out until the officer is left is he still a scoring unit?
I can't find anywhere where it says otherwise, so I'd say they do count as scoring units.
FABRICATI DIEM, PVNC
He's a troop choice, he's not a vehicle, he's not a swarm, and he doesn't say he's not scoring, so he's scoring.
sweet thanks! that's what I thought and its what I played in an apoc game yesterday (using standard scoring, so only troops)
Just seems cool to have my JO w/HI and the medallion crimson holding off an objective by himself. He took an entire squad of pathfinders, a oblit's lascannon and a prism cannon and its catapults all in one turn, in the open! (I went to the ground and had my camo-cloak wrapped extra tight around me while muttering a prayer to the emperor)
He ended up alive at the end of the turn to capture the objective with one wound remaining, now that's a trooper
