In 4th ed it used to be if you shot a flamer or any other template weapon at an open topped vehicle transporting squads you hit the people inside the transport. In a game the other day this came up, but i could not find a rule in the new 5th ed book that states passengers inside get hit.
Am I missing something or has this been completly taken out in 5th ed? Seems to go against logic that my flamethrower only hits the vehicle and not the people in the back.
from what i see the vehicle is the only one getting hit and the passengers dont. it seem they took it out of 5th to make the passengers safer.
Traitors dine in heLL.
There was no such rule in 4th ed either.....
Yeah... The closest thing I can think of is open topped vehicles had vulnerable to blasts/templates in 4th
In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.
I'm pretty sure that wasn't even in 3rd ed. Highly possible it was 2nd ed, but I didn't really get involved with open-topped transports back then...
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone
