Can the Creature development rules be used to formulate units that can be used in regular armies? I was just wondering... cause a couple of new Kroot beasties would be nice to create...
I also noticed that the online E-zine team had created a Kroot Warhound or something... very evil looking beastie!
--- Are You talking about the Tyranid Creature Design Rules, or the ones published in the GW US Webzine Black Gobbo?
The answer would be no in both cases.
Of course, You can make something up with those rules and ask Your opponents if they let You play with it, if they do then no problem!
"The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all biomatter consumed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be devoured."
