Alright, when the Archon 2+ save has failed it breaks. But what happeneds if he recieves 3 wounds? For example warboss hits, and 3 wounds. Would he roll them all together or one by one. Because what would happen if he got a 3, 5 and a 1. The reason I am asking is because if he got the one first, than the 3 would have failed to. I am thinking that you roll them 1 by 1, but I had to be sure.
What happens If I shoot with my mighty psycannon (or psycannon bolts for that matter) that ignores invulnerable saves? Would it automaticly break?
I think that when attack bypasses the field (ignore inv. saves), the field is destroyed.
Green Tide will consume You all!
doesn't really matter as a single shot from a psycannon does instant-kill, an Archon
this is also very similair when it came when deciding if a HT could use it's implaint attack against model with an armour save only.
Since the model or weapons ignores the save, it is counted as a fail, this could also apply to the psycannon
The DE player however is free to decide not to use the shadow field in first instance, but to use the normal armour save (which is then ignored due to the AP).
In this case the SF unquestionably does not count as having failed.
