I just happen to notice that it says models with this
"Are immune to the instant death rule".
Does that mean they're only not affected by the double toughness thing but may be insta killed by other effects?
Possible insta killers include
-failed death or glory
So I'm wondering which of these and other things do or do not instantly kill eternal warriors.
The rule is pretty self explanatory, anything that inflicts "instant death" normally will only put a wound on a model with Eternal Warrior rule. What is important to look at here though is that things which simply remove the model entirely i.e. failed death or glory, still remove an eternal warrior.
Direswords simply remove the model, so it would still affect eternal warriors (assuming they fail their ld check that is)
D-cannons/Wraith cannons inflict instant death, so only 1 wound is taken by an Eternal Warrior
Force Weapons also inflict instant death
Blais's Paint Studio-Getting broken armies good soft scores since 2009
Any weapon or ability that says it causes instant-death will only inflict a single wound, however weapons or abiltiies that say the model is killed outright or removed from play ( ork SAG result 12 ) negate this and will kill the model in one go.
