I'm trying to make sure I'm reading this right, but does being fearless in CC mean you take more wounds when you lose?
And yeah, that would mean you take more wounds. (no retreat p. 44).
The unit takes 1 wound for every point of difference they lost the combat. Say he made 4 wounds you made one. You would take an additional 3 wounds due to being fearless

But you do get armor saves against them.
And that is why being Fearless generally costs about 3 points/model and not a lot more. Every strength needs a weakness for a balanced game.
