I have a Dark Elder Army and in the rule book it says that you can fire weapons with the restriction for the raiders movement, therefore you can't fire rapid-fire weapons to full affect and can't shoot heavy weapons. Is this correct as a mate of mine (aka Red Man) says you can with no restrictions- as SM in Rhinos can without restrictions.
Which way is right?
Rhinos have the same restrictions a DE Raider does as far as shooting except for one. An open topped vehicle allows everyone who can to shoot, while a Rhino has a specific number of fire points, limiting the total number of shooters.
However, you are correct in the restrictions about movement of the vehicle affecting the weapons that can be used. If the vehicle moves, the shooters are considered to have moved. So, no heavy weapons, etc.
So that means you can shoot heavy weapons????
How victory may be produced for them out of the enemy's
own tactics--that is what the multitude cannot comprehend.

I believe he just answered that. If you move, you can't shoot heavy weapons. If you don't move, you can shoot heavy weapons.
