I was seeing if anyone can answer this question for me.
How do you determine which vehicle side is facing you? In the rules on pg.60 it says the armor facing value is determined as shown in the diagram below and it doesn't really explain it further from what I could tell.
Do you draw the line to determine the facing side by making a X in the center of the vechile and make lines going out at 90 degrees
Do you draw the line from the top right to the bottom left through the vehicle and vice versa for the opposite side. So basically if you take a Eldar Wave Serpant, it would have a very long side facing and small front and rear facings, while a rhino would have about the same angle for front, side, and rear.

You draw the line from corner to corner.
The method I use is to lay a tap measure from the rear of the vehicle and extend it across the opposite front. That way you can extend the line as far as you need.
Grave tanks have an odd shape, but luckily they have the same front and side armor value, so their isn’t a problem.
