What does it mean by scoring units? and who are scoring units in a space marine army.
Scoring units are all troops choices bar tanks and swarms. for marines this is scouts and tactical marines plus all special ones included in the different codecies (sm,dark angles, wolves, all others).I am not a sm player so do not all special troop choices.
for the emperor, for the great maw, blood for the blood god,
for the horned rat!!!!!
then why is having pedro kantor so "GOOD" since he makes sternguards scoring units which are just normal troops.
Scoring units are units that can take objectives. With Kantor the sternguard remain sternguard, but gain the ability to claim objectives which they would otherwise be unable to do.
why bother getting pedro and sternguards (sternguards are AWSOME) why dont you just have more troops so they can hold the objectives
pedro makes sterngaurd hold objectives
yeah but why is it so special can't you just get tactical marines to do that
a) Because sternguard are tactically more flexible than regular tac squads.
b) A lot of people will have sternguard anyway, so having scoring sternguard as an extra scoring unit is very much cherry on the icing on the cake.
c) Kantor ain't half bad anyway.
d) An extra scoring unit never hurt anyone (apart from your opponent, especially if he/she forgets they are scoring!)
ok then thanks guys
No problem. Glad I could help.
