    Valkyrie assults

    This may seem like a dumb question,but can you assult a valkyrie?Its all the way up there and what are you supposed do with a power fist if it is flying?

    for the emperor,for the great maw,blood for the blood god,
    armies:guard,ogres,40k daemons,skaven
    for the horned rat!!!!!

    Well visually it wouldn’t seem like they could even swing, but the rules say that it is treated like any other assault. So all you need to do is get into base to base contact to be engaged.

    You can assault it if you get within base-to-base contact, but as with any vehicles, you are not considered locked in combat with it. Thus next turn it can just move away or even tank shock you.
