i did a super quick search and didnt really find what i was looking for.
i play Eldar. When exactly do you use power like fortune and doom, it says at the start of the turn, is that in the movement phase? can you move you 6" and then cast fortune on a sqaud, or can you only cast it before you move??
AND say i casted fortune on jetbikes or a falcon, and then they move into cover(trees/dangerous terrain) but roll a 1 for the test and "crash" do they get to re roll that since they are fortuned?
While there isn't necessarily a "Start of Turn" in 40K, once you moved you've passed it. You're already in the process of moving units, therefore it cannot be called the start of the turn. This isn't a save and Fortune lets you re-roll saves, so no. It's a Dangerous Terrain test which is a different animal entirely. Now, if the model had an invulnerable save (you can't take cover or armor saves against Dangerous Terrain) you can re-roll that, but obviously with a vehicle you wont so there is nothing you can do.AND say i casted fortune on jetbikes or a falcon, and then they move into cover(trees/dangerous terrain) but roll a 1 for the test and "crash" do they get to re roll that since they are fortuned?
