Its says that a model with Hit and Run may leave the combat at the end of the assault phase. Does this means that I can leave the combat in my enemys assult phase?
Lets say i got some warp spiders. They jump shoot and then assult a unit. They attack and the enemy strikes back. Then is it my enemys turn. Then in his assult phase I leave combat. In my next turn i then jump, shoot and assult again. In this way my enemy cant shoot at me.
Is this legal or not?
Just bear in mind that you have to take an Initiative Test to be able to disengage. This is done in the same way as a Morale Test, except that you use the Initiative value instead of your Leadership value.
"Tau Commandment #226: Participants who use Velocity Trackers in the Tau Clay Pigeon Tournament will be disqualified"
And you only use one die! Would be a pretty crappy ability if you had to roll equal or under initiative on two dice to use it
