I'm sure I asked this before... but i couldn't find it with searching/looking up my posts, so!
(and I forgot the proper answer)
With my 1000pt gretchin army, I use up 2hq, 6 troop, and 3 heavy,
for continuing it on to 1500, one of my lists uses 2 elites (eggs in basket)
while the other uses 3 fast, and 2 elite,
so, for the 2nd one, if i were to do a 2000 pt list, I would run out of FOC slots
so, what do I do?
for the last 500pts would I need 1 elite (to fill the other one), then 1 HQ & 2 troops?
Summery: Full FOC at 1500pts. Do I get another which must consist of at least 1 hq & 2 troops for the next 500pts
Hmmm... Good question. I'm not sure its even covered in the rulebook. for friendly games even I'm not sure how I'd do it. Personally what I'd say is you get an "allies" FOC like the one in the DH/WH codices and add that to your regular FOC: 0-1 HQ, 0-1 Elite, 0-2 Troops, 0-1 FA. As for tournaments, you'd have to ask the organiser.
You get some bigger meaner cousins instead of gretchin. They are called orks and cost a little more. I do not have the codex but i am still trying to remember from when i read it what units are all gretchin. But hey the shock gun use gretchin...as ammo
but orks are broken >.>
i like my 1000pt, 204 model army,
(also, the shokk attack gun fires snotlings, not gretching, learn some xenology :3 )
anyway, on topic, ArtificiallyEnhanced, that could work, but guess it's 'ask opponent' then :3
woo for needing 2 lists which change on the whim of who you play~
Of course, you could just use your 1500+ extra elite unit army and forget about the extra points difference. You're a gretchin army! I guess its just for fun anyway!
Unless you hit apocalypse! Now that WOULD be awesome to see all those grots lined up!
It is for fun, it's also undefeated, as mentioned in sig :p
but yeah, that could work too, as I don't really 'need' the extra... 300pts?
should be able to get draw-win without them unless it's a really anti hoard army :D
so fair enough
If your opponent agrees, you could use multiple detachments as outlined on p.87 of the BRB.
Very impressive record, though I fail to see how a good army will lose to you. A few hellhounds or a massed infantry guards list will probably table your army.
as this is wrong place for list discusion, go here~
