If a hero joins a unit, does he have to count towards the unit composition?
10 wolf guard.
Is this legal?
Hero = Special Character (terminology )
Any independent character, albeit special character, generic hq, etc, can join a squad. However, I'm not exactly sure what you mean as far as "unit composition" goes.
Do these clarifications help?
- Max number in a squad is not affected by independent characters who join the squad (i.e., chaos marines can have up to 20 models in a squad. A chaos lord is permitted to join a maxed out chaos squad)
- Entering a transport is affected by independent characters who join the squad. (i.e., a ten man chaos marine squad with a chaos lord attached cannot enter a rhino. Although, a nine man chaos marine squad with a chaos marine attached can enter a rhino).
Spambot kill tally. . .337
Thanks,that did help.
Just note that he will take up space in a transport. So in the case of Logan Grimmar, him being in TDA and all, could only enter Land raiders.
Necron Army Building Maxima: Beware of Phase Out
Or even in regular power armor, can only join a squad of 9 into a Rhino. Rhino (max 10).
