Aren't guess weapons a thing of the past in 5th ed? I remember that RBR says you just place the template on your intended target and scatter normally (with minus BS on the distance if in LOS, full scatter if not in LOS). You don't guess distances anymore, right? And a 'hit' is always a hit?
Just curious since in the Ork codex there's a bunch of G48" (or whatever distance) weapons, but the Ork codex is 4th ed, is it not?
They count as Barrage Weapons now
Yes, I did deep-strike your sister...
Necrons : W-8 D-3 L-7 (Sleeping in their TombFoam, waiting for a new codex)
Chaos Forces (CSM/CD): W-42 D-19 L-28
Apocalypse Games : W-4 D-0 L-1 (4 Titans, Brass Scorp, 3 Baneblades, 2 Bombers, 3 Fighters, and a Partrage in a Pear Tree)
All joking aside page 32 of your rulebook states that "Note that in older Codex books barrage weapons were identified by having a G (guess) before their range (e.g. Range: G48"). This is the same thing as having the word 'barrage' under their Type."
So just treat G weapons as you would Barrage weapons, of course with the minimum range included.
