BRB pg 71 "A skimmer that is also fast and is moving flat out can move up to 24"."
This sentence seems to imply that a skimmer that is not fast can move up to 18", but the guys at my local shop say that it can only move 12". Can someone please explain this discrepancy.
Non-fast vehicles may move up to 12''. Fast vehicles may move flat-out and move up to 18''. Fast Skimmers may move flat-out and move up to 24'', benefiting from a 4+ cover save in the process.
I guess I'm just confused as to why a skimmer gets an extra 12" for being fast while other vehicles only get an extra 6".

Quorn! - Protein for the Protein God.
Also you won't find that many skimmers that aren't fast. I'm struggling to think of any.
