Scenario: There is a small ruined building, it was infested with orks the space marines killed the orks last turn though. Now they want to use the platform on the building as a vantage point.
My question is with climbing onto platforms and such do you measure to where the platform actually is or do you measure to underneath the platform and not count the vertical movement?

P.83 BRB, top picture shows how to move up one stage in a building. Basically you measure laterally and then vertically, adding the two distances together, so you usually need a good result on the Difficult Terrain roll!
