Am I right in thinking that this rule no longer exists? I've seen video battle reports and written ones, mentioning re-roll to wounds for fleshborers, and for the life of me I can't figure out why?
I am almost positive that rule no longer exists. As to why the reports mention these things they may be playing the old codex or some house rules?

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
There has been no mention of this rule applying to certain Tyranid weapons anymore in the new codex, and if I am not mistaken, this rule appeared in the profile of the weapons which it was affiliated with, so I think it is safe to say that it has not been passed down through the editions, as Skarsgard has said.
Light a fire for a man, and he will be warm for a night. Light a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life.
Last edition had it, this one got rid of it... Thank the Emperor...
Actually it's made the new 'dex a lot more streamlined, it's easier to play 'nids now. But no less deadly.
ThanX fellas, I'm building a new Nid army, and have been completely unsuccessful in finding the rule in any form. The last few BatReps I've seen (youtube) even from only 1 month ago, they were re-rolling fleshborer wounds. I was just confused.
edit... New Thread.
