Rerolls for Saga of the Beastslayer.

"The character may reroll failed To Hit rolls against walkers, monstrous creatures, and models with a toughness of 5 or more"
The Hero is apparantly an expert on monster-killing. But is this reroll for To Hit only for Shooting, Close Combat or both?

If it doesn't specify in the rule itself, it's both.

i have to agree that both would be the feasible cause.

hes a master of monsters, so in CC and in Shooting, he wants them dead. Basically, his ranged weps become twin linked, and his melee becomse master crafted. BUT ONLY ON T5 OR HIGHER.

    Hey

What has been said is true, you may re-roll both shooting and CC attacks, keeping in mind your solemn Oath that you will not fail in destroying one of these alien, or friendly, monstrosities.

This is also what makes Lone Wolves a viable choice as they already own this saga.

    Good Hunting.

    Thanks.

I have been playing the SW codex since October and just assumed all the time it was only for CC. But now then I read the codex again, it suddenly dawned on me it could possibly also mean for shooting.
But English is not my first language so I had to look it up.

So now, a nice Plasma Pistol...

    Hey

Also do not forget, per the FAQ, that when your character with the Beastslayer Oath, or you have a Lone Wolf or Ulrik the Slayer, attacks a model with modified toughness, you use the changed statistic, such as a Biker. Where its Toughness is 4(5), the Saga comes into effect.

    Good Hunting.
