I just got the chaos codex today (so bear with me here) and I am a bit confused about something. Why is it that Thrall Wizards have stats for shooting when they are not allowed to have any weapons or wargear? Is it that you are supposed to use his stats for the psychic power he is sacrificed for? Because I had thought that you use the stats of the Sorceror he is attached to for the psychic attack the thrall is used for. Also, how is it possible for a Thrall Wizard to have an attack in CC when they have no weapons? Thank you for your patience.

they get one attack, because they gotta defend themself if charged. As for BS, who cares, just ignore it. Don't forget to switch the toughness and wounds. That was covered in a FAQ a while ago.

Do thralls recieve the +1 bonus if the unit they are in charges?

Like any other unit, if they charge and dont shoot, then they get an extra attack for charging.
