How works toughness test on bikes? If bike have toughness 4(5) it fails on 5 or 6 ?
We're told that a 6 is always a fail, so it's the "5" that's in question.
On P.53 BRB we are told that a Bike's rider has his Toughness characteristic increased by +1. We are told that the increase does not affect the model's toughness against Instant Death. However, this is the only exception mentioned, so I would assume that when taking a Toughness Test, the roll would be against the modified value of 5. So rolling a 5 wouldn't fail the test.

It fails on a 6 only. A characteristic test is if you roll equal to or under.
