Ok, let's say I have 9 Dark Eldar Raiders on the field that all have torture amps (meaning they can tank shock). Now lets say I use one to tank shock a unit that is carrying melta bombs. He passes his leadership and then death or glorys me with a melta bomb. Since it auto-hits, snake eyes glances the raider, and open-topped means it's wrecked on a 4 and explodes on a 5+, it's pretty safe to say I'd be losing that raider.
My question is, if I tank shock that unit again with another raider in the same turn, can he still use his melta bombs? Can he death or glory all 9 of my raiders if I stupidly choose to throw all 9 at him?
Be aware though that usually only the sergeant carries meltabombs. Only models that are actually physically moved out of the way may make the DoG attacks. Just angle your raiders so you don't hit the sergeant.
The Tank shock will work as normal and he doesn't get to hit you with meltabombs. Same goes for powerfists, meltaguns, plasmaguns and the like. Just avoid them.

Yeah, Meltabombs are not single use weapons - it's assumed he's got a bandolier of the things and he can pull one out whenever a suitably tempting target presents itself. So long as the Raiders keep running within his reach, he'll keep blowing them up, one by one.
Now I think about it, isn't the only unit that come with full meltabombs fire dragons? Though SM veterans (of all flavours) can possibly buy them.
All Marines get krak grenades, which are serviceable anti-tank when they're massed.

Or quite simply you dont tank shock. It's only worth doing it against a unit that has nothing that can harm the tank. Which is hardly any.
Or if your tank has no weapons left and nothing else to do (as long as it is not anhiliation you won't lose anything on losing the raider).
When you tank shock just avoid the models that have the power fist or melta bombs. If they are not squad wide, you can snipe a single guy. Also, melta bombs do not benefit from AP 1.

Just so everyone knows, you cannot avoid certain models when Shocking. The Shocked unit must pass a Ld test and then one model (any one in the unit) may choose to make a DoG. It's an auto hit. And yes, there are no rules for multiple Shocking, so the one model with Melta can attempt over and over again. At least until they FAQ this.
