This may seem really dumb but me and my battling buds never really use the option to have two marines fire from the access hatch on top of the rhino. My question is this, can a Rhino move it's max range of 12" and then can you still shoot two marines out of it, with whatever weapon (barring a Heavy one) you like?
No, infantry can only fire out of a vehicle if it moved combat or less (counting as moving if the transport moved). However if you move cruising speed or less you can still disembark and shoot (counting as moving if the transport moved). My question is this, can a Rhino move it's max range of 12" and then can you still shoot two marines out of it, with whatever weapon (barring a Heavy one) you like?
You fire out of the top hatch, so if firing forward you measure from the hatch bit that is closet to the front of the vehicle, and Hockeyman506, the book says top hatch not slits.
In most marine codices you can't use the fire points if you move more than 6" but you can move up to 12" if you use the BA codex. (BA Rhinos are "fast vheicles")
In the 41st millenium there is no such thing as paranoia, the universe realy is out to get you!
The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. Bring them understanding of the power of ourselves through our strength and their fear. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all fragments will be smashed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be consumed
This can make a difference to the fired weapons range due to the fact that the double door hatch is quite a bit bigger to measure from.
In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.
It's the two doors at the back, not either of the two 'hatches' at the front, mainly beacuse the storm botlers go there.
