Just something which made me raise an eyebrow this morning, and I'd be interested to hear the general consensus.
This bit is straightforward. This bit caused the raised eyebrow.Originally Posted by Codex CSM P.93A Slaanesh Lord is Str4 and cannot wound T8 models. Do I assume that the "regardless..." bit quoted above is an 'oops' inclusion by the Codex writer, since it's impossible for a wound to be caused in the first place and a wound has to be caused in order to allow the Instant Death element to be enacted? In other words, Blissgiver is useless against anything >T7regardless of the target's toughness.
I know I'm not likely to come across too many T8 opponents, but C'tan and Wraithlords do figure in my gaming community......
Thanks for your time and input.
"Tau Commandment #226: Participants who use Velocity Trackers in the Tau Clay Pigeon Tournament will be disqualified"
well... he most wound it to be able to instant kill it. and to wound it he have to roll a 7 and that is impossible so I would say no.
It's the normal language for "this weapon inflicts instant death and its Strength does not have to be double Toughness to do so." Yeah, you've still got to inflict a wound, which means you can't be so weak you can't inflict a wound at all.
'course, you could always figure out a way to give said lord +1 strength (maybe from furious charge?) and then it would become at least possible, even if it's pretty difficult.
