I Understand that if you can reach and can keep in coherency you can assault 2 units next to each other at the same time.
I also understand that you can only assault the unit that your fired at.
My question is that if 2 units are next to each other and you fire at one can you still assult them both at the same time ?
The key to multi-assaults is that you still have only one initial charge target. This is the one you declare an assault against, so this is the one you fired upon.
From there, the first model to make the assault move must move the shortest distance possible to the target unit. After that, any other model in the charging unit may move to contact any other enemy unit as well, so long as you maintain coherency.
