Sorry if this is a stupid question. but I was wondering this since my friend just got into Eldar. My question is does mind war ignore my invuls.?
I was assuming it didn't since it would be a little unfair for a 55 point model(minimum) to be able to destroy a 360 point model(Nightbringer) with one attack. Also, I read in the codex that it ignores "armour saves", but it did not say anything about invulnerability saves.
Well, after reading this I was almost positive that it did not ignore invulnerability saves, but when we went to my local GW and asked, the employees response was that it does in fact ignore invuls.. The employees at my GW are not known to always be correct on the rules so I was unsure of this.
So long story short, does mind war ignore invuls.?

To the best of my knoweledge it does. At least this is how I've always seen it played. Take this for what it's worth though, since I don't own an eldar codex.
The enemies of the Emperor fear many things. They fear discovery, defeat, despair and death. Yet there is one thing they fear above all others. They fear the wrath of the Space Marines!
I believe that you are allowed to take invul saves. as the codex only mentions armour saves.
If it only mentions armour saves, then you can have your invulnerable save.
But can a Hive Tyrant use his guard to save him from mind war? They couldn't really leap in the way of it, but the poor Tyranids have no invulnerable save against it...
A Tyrant couldn't let his Guards absorb the blow, Mind War picks out specific enemy models.
You are allowed to take Invulneable saves vs Mind War
You cannot win, for to fight us is to give us power.
I did always play that it didnt allow inv saves, however, I think in one of the older FAQs there was a statement about mindwar ruling on weather you just took a single inv save or one for each wound, which means you do get inv saves, so I hanged how I play - there are posts on this in the Eldar forum
Everything you have been told is a lie!
This question is clearly answered by the Eldar FAQ at Chapter Approved, go take a look!
And yes, even if it only inflicts a single Wound, You still get the Inv...
