Hey i was wondering about covering saves and how they work. Do you roll for both the armour save and the cover save? Or do you use which ever one is higher, so if a Space Marine was in a ruin he would have a better armour save. Thanks in advance.
You take what ever is better, my understanding is that in older editions you took both but I've only played in the current one.
But if you're in cover and going to get with something that would ignore your SV say a Lascannon you would take the shall we say the 4+ cover for being in cover instead of the regular armour.

The main thing to remember is you can only make one save against a wound, whether it's armor, cover or invulnerable.
