    Templar changes

I just recently got back into 40K after a 4ish year hiatus. I'm wondering how the most recently published Templar codex applies with the newest Space Marine codex. Is the Templar codex still valid?
Example, when building an army list, do I use the emperors champion rules from the Templar codex still and use new rules and point values in the new space marine codex?

You use the templar codex and the errata from the GW website - it updates a few things like stormshields and cyclone missile launchers.
Ignore the space marine codex entirely.

Here's the update you need to use along side the Black Templars Codex
