i'm new to W40k tabletop and would like to know if the first edition figures from the 1980s or so are still allowed to use in tournaments.
If its important the questioned models are: Eldar Dire Avengers, Eldar Fire Dragons, Eldar Guardians, Eldar Striking Scorpions, Eldar War Walkers, Eldar Falcon Tanks, Eldar Swooping Hawks and also an Eldar Farseer.
Probably a silly question but i could buy some relatively cheap and help would be much appreciated since i dont know anything of actual play.
In a gw tourny yes as they are gw models. If it's a a local club or something like that then it's up to them but 99.999999% of the time yes.
Yes, as long their wargear is modeled to represent "What You See Is What You Get."
Not every tournament is "What You See Is What You Get", right?
Life is a clay urn on the mantle
And I am scattered on the floor
We are the wounds and the great cold death of the earth. . .
Also, don't take this the wrong way, but if you're new to the game and don't know how to play, I don't recommend entering any tournaments just yet!
"Peace, through superior firepower."
Wow quite a response Thanks everyone for the help!
And @Tzeentch Lord : Yes could be true that these models where from the second edition as i said i'm not really an expert.
And i dont even think about entering a tournament. It would be frustrating for me and my opponents i believe.
And thanks again everyone for helping out.
