DKOK Platoon standard?

in the DKoK rule book under the normal platoon squad choices it says that "One Guardsman may carry a Platoon Standard for15 points," so can every squad in a platoon get one?

I'm not sure about the Death Korps of Krieg, (I had to google DKoK to figure out what the hell it was. lol) but the imperial guard codex only a platoon command squad can take one. If the DKoK can take them in their normal platoon squads then I'd love to see a 50-man squad with 6 power weapons and 5 banners in CC, +5 to the combat result, that squad might actually win combat more often than not.

According to those rules, exactly as printed, normal infantry squads are allowed to take a platoon standard. However, I would put money on a copy/paste error on the parts of the poor guy who typed it up for the pdf. It's almost definitely supposed to be the exact same as the original Imperial Guard codex that it was based on. You can play it as you see it, though, unless they've published an errata.

Somehow I think it's a typo, but that said, looking at the whole thing, it kind of fits with the fluff. My reason to think it's a typo is that it's kind of pointless to have each squad in a platoon carry a standard, it is after all a 'platoon' standard.
