I'm new the world of Warhammer 40k. I'm playing the Tau since it fits more of my fighting style.

    Anyways, onto the subject.

    1. If I used the markerlight to launch a seeker missile, can I use the same markerlight again to score a 2+ hit with other weapons outside the seeker missile I fired?

    2. The pulse carbines have underslung photon grenade launchers. Does it mean they already count as having photon grenade already, or do I have to equip my squad with photon grenades to actually have that bonus?

    3. I can use the Hammerheads submunitions and solid shots at any point of the game? Or do I stick with one type throughout the entire game?

Cum catapultae proscriptae erunt tum soli proscript catapultas habebunt.
Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam

1: The seeker misssile uses that markerlight so no other unit may

2: That is just the fluff explaination for the pinning ability of the carbine. They do not give the model photon grenades.

3: You may chose which to fire at any time.
The enemies of the Emperor fear many things. They fear discovery, defeat, despair and death. Yet there is one thing they fear above all others. They fear the wrath of the Space Marines!

    Clarification on #1

You may fire one weapon per markerlight on the target at 2+. This the only circumstance that seeker missles may be fired, and they count as one of those weapons. So if you got three markerlight hits, you could fire three seeker missles, or two missles and a railgun, all at 2+ (for some reason my hammerhead always rolld 2's, it's bizare. but I don't use markerlights, so I'm looking for 3's *sigh*). It's worth noting that this is per weapon, not per shot, so if you use a marker for an ion cannon, you get the 2+ on all three shots. Also, as per the new Faq, makerlights deny the target cover saves, which is really sweet, particularly when, say, submunitioning troops in woods.

Though technically I think you could only deny one model a cover save this way as it is only one markerlight and one shot. It seems against the spirit of the rules that you could deny a whole squad their save just because you are firing a template weapon.
