When your squad drops below 50% do you have to take a leadership test at the start of each turn or do you just automatically run away? ( unless a special rule such as bonding for tau negates that)
I'm not entirely clear on this subject so any help on clearing it up would be much appreciated
Thx in advance
Ive never heard of taking a Ld check just because youre below half strength.

Well a valid and very similar question which he may have tried to say is:
When your squad is below 50% and fails it's test,(and you aren't space marines or someone with special rules) is this squad damned to fall off the table?
They cannot regroup so they don't take the regrouping test, correct? Thus they just keep falling back every turn because they can't regroup... Thus a heavy weapons squad below 50% and falling back is now useless unless the other player tries to assault it.
Necron will stand for eternity.Their race has survived aeons by trading their very souls for metal bodies. Now, they will live on through eternity and will vanquish all life from our universe. For they are Necron. Flesh is weak. The machine will rise!
There are certain exceptions to this as WolfRaider points out. For example, if your Genestealers have fallen past %50 str and failed thier morale check they will keep fleeing until they have fallen off the table. But if you have a creature with Synapse run over within 12" the Genestealers will automatically regroup next turn. Of course, if you had a synapse creature within 12" the Genestealers would have never have had to make the morale check in the first place
I learned this the hard way just the other night...
