If I am going to exchange for the plasma gun, do I have to pay the price for the lascannon?
Meaning that the second plasma gun is quite a bit more expensive :hmm:
Archaon's Top Tip for profiting from the End Time: Pillage before you burn
When I say jump you don't ask me 'How high?' maggot! You jump!
no, you either buy a heavy and a special weapon or 2 special weapons.
you pay the price listed for the plasma gun twice
simple as that
@Archaon: yes (Y)
@Dreachon: Wrong.To replace a missile launcher, you have to have bought it first. You pay the points for (for example) a missile launcher, then you can exchange it for a flamer for no extra points cost or discount.Originally posted by Codex: SM
Cleanse and Purify:
One member of a tactical squad may replace his missile launcher with a flamer or his lascannon with a plasma gun or meltagun
So if you had two meltaguns in your tank-hunting tactical squad, you would pay the points for one meltagun and one lascannon. That is how it works.
All the old Specialist Games resources are currently being uploaded at the Tactical Command forums, and you can find them here: http://www.sg.tacticalwargames.net/fanatic/.
The reasoning behind this is that the second flamer/plasma gun/melta is much more beneficial than the first one.Meaning that the second plasma gun is quite a bit more expensive
