I was reading the section on vehicles and grenades and I noticed there is a table exapling whaty each grenade does for armor penetration. Haywire Grenades are not on this list. I assume this means I continue to use the Eldar Codex table? Also, in the Eldar codex, it explains that the Haywire grenades can only be used against a Dreadnought if it is immobilised or stunned. But in the 4th Edition Rules for Grenades it mentiones that they will only hit Dreadnoughts on a roll of a 6. If stunned the assaulting grenade unit can use their WS. Does this also apply to haywire grenades?
None of this is mentioned in the Eldar FAQ.
No need to FAQ it is why.. You follow the rules for grenades in 4th and the rules for haywires, which really haven't changed much at all since 3rd and none at all since TVR (except the whole grenades have a ST value)
You hit a dreadnought on a 6 no matter what, unless it's destroyed
Edited your last line to make it correct.Originally posted by Kirasu@Dec 6 2004, 076

All the old Specialist Games resources are currently being uploaded at the Tactical Command forums, and you can find them here: http://www.sg.tacticalwargames.net/fanatic/.
Yeah im sorry, dont know why i said that heh.. guess i wasnt paying attention. You do a normal comparison against WS if it was stunned or immobile at start of assault phase

Thanks, I wasn't sure what parts of the Eldar codex to use for Haywire Grenades. So to some it up, I use the Eldar dice rolling chart for damage and for all the rest I use the 4th edition Grenade rules.
