Question: I have an Officer armed with a power weapon and a plasma pistol. His attacks characteristic is 3. Let's say he charges someone of equal Initiative. He's qualified for his 3 attacks, +1 for two CC weapons, +1 for charging, for a total of 5 attacks.
When rolling to wound, how many times can he fire his plasma pistol?
If multiple, I suppose the "Get's Hot" special rule of 2+ comes into effect, yes?
None. You don't use pistols (or any guns) in combat. Pistols only effect CC in that they give you the +1A bonus when combined with another one-handed weapon. So no "Gets Hot" rolls are taken, as there's nothing to get hot with!
In this situation, all 5 attacks would be made with the Power Sword (3 base, +1 for two CCW, +1 for charging).
all ranged weapons dont effect close combat, cept pistols weapons give you a bonus +1A.
The Holy Bolter
998. model bolter: Godwyn pattern with ammo counter, sinister/dexter lock mechanism and sickle magazine with 30 rounds of .75 calibre bolts with diamantine tips, depleted deuterium core & mass reactive detonators. Fires in 4 round bursts.
"A bolter is a treasured weapon; but in the hands of a Space Marine it is a divine instrument of the Emperor's wrath"
Sounds like you are thinking of second edition or necromunda.
1 lasgun is a joke, 100 is no laughing matter.
