hey i was wondering about how i would go with using 2 force organization charts for 2,500 pts. with space wolves. Would i have to have 4 hq's?
would it be legal if.....
for 1250 pts. i used 2 Hq's, 2 troops, 2 elites, 1 fast attack, and 1 hvy support. ?? please help me figure this out!!
I'm not really familiar with the second FOC rules, but you'd only need 2 HQ choices (one mandatory for each FOC).
Space Wolves are different, having special rules requiring an HQ choice added whenever the list reaches certain points IIRC.
AFAIK, those rules still apply even if You're using multiple FOCs of Wolves... Don't have the Codex so I can't unfortunately check the specifics.
"The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all biomatter consumed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be devoured."
Remember, 40k is designed for games of 1000-2000 pts. If you play a game with 2 charts you should really discuss the rules with your opponent as your codex may or may not apply completely. Games over 2000 pts and games under 1000 pts can be easily dominated by tanks or over the top firepower thus you may need to modify things a bit
In short, since you're playing a non-standard game just talk with your opponent first to set the rules. As to the actual question, you must have 4 HQs
Rules are surely alterable by mutual agreement unless playing in a competitive tournament - although I guess this issue has been thrashed out at legth previously on the forum
