Seems to me the Ordnance rules in the book are incomplete. Can anyone tell me if there's a correction for this somewhere, as there is no FAQ for the rulebook...
You follow the rules for casualty removal as detailed under the Blast weapon rules on page 30.
The reference for Ordnance weapons using their own rules is in regards to the to-hit procedure, which is very different between Blast and Ordnance weapons.
However, for casualty removal You use the same rules, since no alternatives have been given. This is also further implied by a 4thEd Necron FAQ Particle Whip clarification.
"The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all biomatter consumed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be devoured."
