ok here it is I am saving up for the rule book so obviously I dont know very much. all I want is to be able to read the charts (I already have my codex) so what is

Weapon Skill, Ballistic Skill, Strength, Toughness, Wounds, Initiative, Attacks, LeaDership, SaVe, STRength, Armour Piercing, respectively. Can't really tell you what they mean without breaking a few rules though.

WS= weapon skill How well units fight in HtH
BS= balistic skill, how well units shoot
S=Strength, How strong a figure is
T=Toughness, how hard it is for enemies to wound a figure
W=Wounds, how much damage a figure can take before dying
I=Initiative, how quickly a model attacks in HtH
A=Attacks, how many attacks a figure gets
Ld=Leadership, how fearless a model/unit it
Sv=Save, how likley a model is to not be wounded by an attack

The next two are for weapons
Str=Strength, how powerful a weapon is
AP=Armor Penetration, how likely the weapon is to punch armor.

That should get you started, though there are charts and graphs in the main rule book you'll need to play anyway.
