Hi to everybody!!
I have a question about the Eldar. In the Eldar Summary in the codex there's a weapon called "scatter laser", and it has a point meaning that you should see the detailed description because it has some special rules. Then, you go to the wargear description and there's no description about this weapon. The one that is the most similar is the pulse laser (because of their Heavy D3 or Heavy D6), and the pulse laser has no descrption in the summary. The pulse laser is only in the Falcon, and the model of the weapon is the same that the scatter laser...
The question is... Is the same weapon and the name is different due to an error??? If not, why the pulse is not in the summary, the scatter is not in the wargear and the models are the same??
pulse laser is in the wargear section... And no of course they're not the same weapon, as they have different names... However, neither has special rules and you can just go off the stat line
Pulse Laser is listed under "Pulse Laser" and is below "Prism Cannon".. Scatter laser is not listed but it has no special rules
I dont understand how they could be the same weapon as you've looked at the entry since you know a scatter laser is d6 shots. One is much less strength than the other
Also, they do not look the same. Im not sure what picture you're looking at but they arent even similar in appearance. The bright lance and pulse laser ARE quite similar but not the scatter laser and pulse laser
You can confuse the two weapons visually because the falcon model comes with a scatter laser and what looks like a bright lance, but on closer inspection the bright lance looking thing is much larger than a normal bright lance THIS is a pulse laser the other weapon is changable and the model it comes with is the scatter laser.
