I was just wondering if I could use an Inquisitor model from the Inquisitor range and use it in 40K, I would have to find the closest matching wargear options but I don't see y not. Anything would be nice!
P.S. Sorry if ther already is a topic about this, I did a search and came up with nothing.
I don't think you can because the models are on a larger scale i think
The models for Inquisitor are on a much larger scale than the models for 40K. Large enough that they'd look VERY odd. Basically, the Inquisitor models are 54mm, while 40K models are 28mm or 36mm (can't remember which). A human in Inquisitor would stand about the size of a Dreadnought in 40K, for a simple comparison.
40k minis are "heroic 28mm". The "heroic" is there for 2 reasons:
They look bigger than the 25mm that used to be standard for tabletop minis.
They have unrealistic proportions (hands bigger than heads!.
=][= models are less-heroic (more realistic) 54mm.
So no, unless you want an =][= bigger than a tank!
But an =][= Genestealer Purestrain would make a GREAT Tyranid monstrous creature!

I've seen Inquisitor models used as deamon princes before, and one person even used a Inquis Eldar as an avatar, looked quite good actually.
I live in your eyes
I dont know if i'd care as long as you use appropriate bases. The base determines everything on a model, so the size of the actual model is unimportant
However, it would look silly imo because of the much larger scale
In the spirit of modelling and converting, you can use whatever GW miniatures you like - you can use high elves as space marines if you like (although some people may not play against you).
It is up to the club or individual players whether or not you can use miniatures from other ranges (such as I-Kore or D&D minis).

Divine Exorcists 2nd Company W0 D0 L2
Inquisitor Lord Mercurius & co. W0 D0 L1
It depends for wat purpose you use them. There is a exodite player at our store that uses the ranger as a ''spirit'' (avatar) of exodites. it looks SO much better then a standard avatar if you ask me.
However with that statement out of the way, I would say listen to ArchonBjorn. He has a really good tendency to not say stupid things and give bad advice.Learn from yesterday.
