In a recent game I played against the Necrons my opponents monolith showed up and he was going to teleport his warriors around with it. The monolith was butted up against several peices of Terrain and would risk crashing if it moved so he stayed in one spot and was going to just use it to reposition his battle line. I thought "If he can't get out the door then he can't use it!" I parked one of my rhinos in front of it and looked smug. He said that his warriors could shoot out of the door at it. I didn't think so but I let it go because my tactic also wasn't all that realistic. Who was right? I did a search and didn't find anything on this specifically. A link will do.

If all exits are blocked then the passengers cannot get out.

I found a incident that it happened in a WD battle report! It was in WD 292, the battle between the Slannesh Marines and Necrons. That was a cool one.

not only would he need a fire point or be open topped, but he would need to be a transport vehicle. The monolith is not a transport vehicle. Troops do not get inside it. They just teleport out of it. And yes, blocking the door was a completely good tactic. Although, he should've been able to move, He could've tank shocked your rhino (higher AV) out of the way, and moved 6" (skimmers treat no terrain as impassible, and even turned the 'lith 90 degrees to clear any terrain. Of course the board might have dictated otherwise, but I'm having a hard time envisioning such a scenario. Justin
